Harvey, his mother Lily and his brother Billy used to give food, water and sometimes clothing to the homeless, most of whom lived in the same community. The family knew that this act of charity was not only the right and moral thing to do; but that the family itself was just a 2-room shack away from homelessness themselves. What better lesson was there than understanding fist hand that we all survive together, or none of us make it. Politics (from Greek: Πολιτικά, politiká, 'affairs of the cities') is the set of activities that are associated with making decisions in groups, or other forms of power relations between individuals, such as the distribution of resources or status. Harvey lived and navigated street politics in the deep south for the first part of his life. Anything after that, would be a piece of cake. Most important, Harvey realized that inaction is action. The invisible hand of fate wants inaction, so it can sweep in and control destinies. Doing nothing is action.

"Just Because You Don't Take An Interest In Politics Doesn't Mean Politics Won't Take An Interest In You"
-Pericles (429 BC)

Harvey was NH State Representative for two terms, elected by the people for the people.
